Foth is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to deliver innovative utility solutions for industrial clients. Based in Wisconsin with ability to work remote or from Green Bay offices, the role involves developing process utility systems, creating mass and energy balances, and producing P&IDs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 7+ years of experience with utility systems such as steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other project disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
• Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Partner with clients, vendors, and suppliers to generate cost estimates and contribute to proposal development.
• Create mass and energy balances to support process design.
• Produce process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Compile equipment lists, line lists, and points of connection (POC) documentation.
• Define operational parameters and performance criteria.
• Work closely with designers to translate engineering concepts into drawings.
• Author installation scope documents for construction teams.
• Provide support during on-site construction and installation phases.
• Assist with system checkout and start-up activities.
• Mentor and coach junior team members as needed.
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess existing conditions.
• Travel as required, with an anticipated average of 30% annually.
