Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a team-focused HVAC Engineer based in Green Bay, WI or remote. You will coordinate multi-discipline projects, develop equipment specs, and support proposals and on-site activities to deliver client success.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of industrial HVAC experience, with strong skills in P&IDs, ductwork, and process piping design. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of experience with industrial HVAC and utility systems (steam, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, CO2, refrigeration, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other project disciplines as required.
• Develop equipment specifications.
• Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and support proposals.
• Develop mass energy balances.
• Develop process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs).
• Develop equipment lists, line lists, and POC lists.
• Develop operation specifications.
• Work with designers to create drawings.
• Write installation scope documents.
• Support on-site construction and installation efforts.
• Support checkout and start-up activities.
• Coach and mentor team members as needed.
• Perform on-site surveys to determine existing conditions.
• Travel as needed (approximately 25% annually).
