Job summary

The Foth Companies are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. This senior role supports clients by developing equipment specs, P&IDs, and cost estimates while coordinating across disciplines.

Based in Green Bay, WI or remote, with about 25% travel to sites. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of industrial HVAC experience and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, plus proven ability to lead engineered package development and ensure code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of experience with industrial HVAC and utility systems (steam, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, CO2, refrigeration, etc.).
• Engineered package development including scope of work, P&IDs, and mechanical equipment arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other project disciplines as required.
• Develop equipment specifications.
• Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and support proposals.
• Develop mass energy balances.
• Develop process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs).
• Develop equipment lists, line lists, and POC lists.
• Develop operation specifications.
• Work with designers to create drawings.
• Write installation scope documents.
• Support on-site construction and installation efforts.
• Support checkout and start-up activities.
• Coach and mentor team members as needed.
• Perform on-site surveys to determine existing conditions.
• Travel as needed (approximately 25% annually).
