Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical construction projects from conception to completion in our Abilene area operations. You will oversee budgets, procurement, change orders, and team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mechanical PM, strong budgeting and procurement skills, and superb communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a Project Management role within the mechanical construction industry.
• Experience managing project costs, change orders, progress reports, and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems.
• Excellent budgeting, contract management, and procurement skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to lead and manage a team.
• Excellent strategic planning abilities with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire life cycle of mechanical construction projects, from initial conception to successful completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Handle project procurement, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
• Manage change orders and progress reports, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
• Monitor and report on the financial performance of projects, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring goals are met.
• Implement strategic planning to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and updating progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Continually review and improve project management processes, adopting new strategies and technologies.
