Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to over see projects nationwide. You will manage the full project lifecycle from planning through execution, coordinating materials, procurement, and vendor contracts to ensure on-time delivery and within budget.

The role requires a mechanical engineering or construction science background with at least 5 years in project management, OSHA-30 certification, and strong negotiation and leadership skills. Travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the engineering or construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards related to project management.
• Proven experience with project documentation, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change order pricing.
• Strong negotiation skills and OSHA-30 certification; capable of leading teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage all project resources, including procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and change order pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring OSHA-30 certification requirements are met.
• Handle issues or crises professionally and diplomatically; communicate with stakeholders using MS Office and other systems.
