Job summary

TrueBuild Partners LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a strong mechanical background to lead end-to-end mechanical construction projects, coordinating with field leadership and design teams on piping, HVAC, and industrial equipment installations.

The ideal candidate has mid-level to senior PM experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and knowledge of P6 or MS Project. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• HVAC/piping knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects end-to-end, including materials/equipment ordering, subcontract issuance, billing, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
• Maintain understanding of contract scope, general conditions, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve potential issues early to protect schedule and budget.
• Support estimating and business development across plan/spec, design-assist, and design-build types.
• Review fabrication shop work packages, including drawings, take-offs, and labor budgets.
• Partner with Safety team to manage jobsite risk and regulatory compliance.
