Job summary

TrueBuild Partners LLC in Nashville is seeking a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with a strong mechanical background to lead mechanical construction projects from planning to closeout. You will coordinate with field leadership and project teams on piping, HVAC, and industrial equipment installations across commercial, industrial, and life sciences sectors.

Ideal candidates bring proven PM experience in mechanical construction, a related bachelor's degree, and familiarity with P6 or MS

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (piping, HVAC, or industrial equipment installation).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and piping systems preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management software (P6 or MS Project) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects end-to-end, including materials/equipment ordering, subcontract issuance, billing, RFIs, change orders, and submittals
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract scope, general conditions, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and resolve potential issues proactively before they impact schedule or budget
• Support estimating and business development across plan/spec, design-assist, and design-build project types
• Review fabrication shop work packages, including detail drawings, material take-offs, and labor budgets
• Partner with the Safety team to manage jobsite risk and ensure regulatory compliance
