The role demands a seasoned professional with expertise in mechanical piping, plumbing, and HVAC, capable of leading complex teams and coordinating with owners and subs. The successful candidate will drive project controls, budgets, schedules, and procurement, ensuring quality and safety across Western PA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Mechanical Project Manager experience on commercial, institutional, or government projects with budgets over $20 million.
• Proven track record of successfully managing project teams with strong project controls and financial management.
• Ability to establish and adhere to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of assigned projects from award to completion.
• Coordinate with project schedulers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Estimate and negotiate change orders, maintaining accurate change order logs.
• Manage project budgets, approving expenses and ensuring adherence to financial plans.
• Administer project contracts and subcontracts.
• Oversee the buyout process for subcontracts and equipment procurement.
• Maintain communication with project owners, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
• Ensure accurate and complete project records and manage close-out documentation.
• Conduct punch-list inspections in coordination with the superintendent and owner's representative.
• Foster relationships with past clients to secure repeat business.

We are working with a large regional Mechanical Contractor in the Pittsburgh, PA area to find an experienced Sr. Mechanical Project Manager with expertise in mechanical piping, plumbing, and HVAC projects for a Western PA projects.
