Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects in Davenport, IA. You will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and safety compliance while coordinating with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

A regionally recognized mechanical construction and facilities services firm is seeking experienced Mechanical Project Managers to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

This organization provides full lifecycle mechanical solutions including HVAC, plumbing, controls/building automation, engineering services, and prefabrication support. Projects include healthcare, education, mission-critical facilities, commercial high-rise, and industrial installations.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, scheduling expertise, and coordination with internal engineering and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor coordination
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
  • Maintain strong client and contractor relationships
