Job summary

Antares is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the design, analysis, and integration of high-temperature, high-pressure piping systems within the Power Conversion System (PCS). You will ensure structural integrity, thermal compatibility, and reliable operation across operating conditions.

The role requires strong piping design and stress analysis experience, with a path from layout through manufacturing and testing in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of senior-level piping experience in industrial or power sites.
• Experience in piping stress, thermal expansion, supports, and nozzle loads.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3/B31.1 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Own design, layout, and mechanical integration of PCS piping systems and interfaces.
• Perform piping stress and structural analyses under thermal and dynamic loads.
• Evaluate piping loads on turbomachinery, heat exchangers, vessels, and structures.
• Develop detailed piping designs, calculations, drawings, and specs per ASME codes.
• Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, structural, and systems engineers for optimization.
• Support procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
