Job summary

Matrix Project Services seeks an Estimator to lead and support the development of project estimates and proposals for Construction, EPC and Bid build projects from Houston, TX. The role requires strong take-offs, data management, and coordination with multiple trades to deliver accurate consolidated estimates.

The candidate will refine the estimate database, analyze risks and ensure compliance with client bid forms while supporting the project life cycle from initial scope through final

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of field and/or office estimating or cost monitoring experience
• Familiar with construction terminology and COA structure

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or supports estimating processes from start to finish.
• Ensures estimates follow COA structure and are traceable to defining documents.
• Performs detailed reviews with vendors for pricing completeness and compliance.
• Assists in soliciting Subcontract and vendor proposals and evaluates for completeness.
• Develops quantity-based estimates from partial information and creates comprehensive proposals.
• Coordinates scope clarifications, risks, and contingencies for the project life cycle.
