Sendero Energy Services is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to expand our mechanical scopes for renewable energy and heavy civil projects. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for piping, equipment, and associated electrical interfaces, and work with cross-functional teams to stabilize project scopes.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical estimating, strong software proficiency, and travel to project sites across Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. Houston base with remote site visits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience for industrial or renewable projects.
• Proficiency with HeavyBid, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Stack, and Proest.
• Solid understanding of process piping, hydrogen systems, and renewables.
• Knowledge of safety codes and industry standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for mechanical scopes.
• Develop detailed quantity take-offs for piping, equipment, and related systems.
• Research material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing.
• Utilize estimating software to create precise bid proposals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Collaborate with project teams to align estimates with schedules.
