Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Piping Designer – Senior Engineering Technician for Advanced Power Generation. The role leads design teams, creates high‑quality engineering deliverables using CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling, and ensures compliance with project standards across infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to site development plans, and support continuous improvement of design guides and processes.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required; a Bachelor Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor.
• Applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges within a specific engineering discipline.
• Contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
• Uses CAD/BIM/3D modeling tools to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation and deliverables.
• Provides consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.
• Establishes and communicates design and graphic standards.
• Reviews project requirements to determine correct formats and deliverable content.
• Promotes quality and consistency across projects and teams.
