Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer II to independently apply advanced engineering techniques for HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant systems on hospital and college campuses.

You will lead portions of projects, develop constructible designs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, reliability, and energy efficiency within ENFRA’s design‑build model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural or mechanical engineering.
• PE license and 7+ years of design experience.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Leads design and analysis of mechanical systems for projects of moderate complexity.
• Develops project deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Improves existing systems and supports development of new solutions.
• Prepares detailed system configurations and control schemes with emphasis on long‑term energy savings.
• Conducts field investigations and supports site visits. Coordinates and plans 3D laser scanning effort.
• Interfaces directly with clients on technical matters.
• May act as task lead or discipline lead on projects.
