Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to lead planning, execution, and oversight of mechanical maintenance across Distribution Facilities. You will ensure reliability through audits, upgrades, and inspections, while guiding cross-functional teams and providing on-site training where needed.

The role requires 5+ years in plant mechanical maintenance, strong knowledge of CMMS/SAP, and the ability to travel 70-80%—including potential Canada work assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in plant mechanical maintenance or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with CMMS such as SAP to manage work orders and maintenance history.
• Ability to interpret and apply codes (API 510/570/653, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, NBIC, local standards).
• Prior project management experience for maintenance or capital projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments and partners.
• Ability to obtain a passport/travel to Canada as needed; travel 70-80%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee mechanical maintenance projects and inspections at Distribution Facilities.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations for inspections and projects.
• Support maintenance needs with remote consultation and on-site assistance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs and reliability.
• Provide on-site training to personnel on inspection and maintenance.
• Drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement through planned maintenance and problem solving.
• Collaborate with facilities to develop maintenance plans, records, and emergency procedures.
• Communicate maintenance status to leadership across facilities.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors to define scopes and supervise work.
