Job summary

Air Products seeks a Mechanical Integrity Specialist to lead inspections of piping, tanks and vessels across our facilities, coordinating internal teams and external inspectors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You’ll use SAP and Credosoft/CMMS, hold API 510 and API 570, and bring 5+ years of field experience. Expect up to 50% travel to U.S. and Canada while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in Mechanical Integrity of piping and vessels is required.
• Experience with inspection methods for vessels, tanks and piping is required.
• API 510 Vessel Inspection Certification is required.
• API 570 Piping Inspection Certification is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise with Mechanical Integrity engineering/safety standards and SAP and internal software.
• Coordinate inspections and manage third‑party inspectors and contractors.
• Ensure inspections are carried out, reports completed, and findings resolved.
• Participate in failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and enhance inspection programs and participate in audits.
• Travel to remote sites, up to 50% of the time.
