HEC in Alaska is seeking an Inspector III to assure mechanical integrity of boilers, tanks, piping, and pressure vessels. You will supervise inspection programs, manage NDE coordination, and ensure regulatory compliance across state and non-state assets.

The role requires extensive knowledge of NBIC, ASME, API standards, and related codes. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and operators to plan inspections and manage contract inspectors and NDE technicians.

Qualificações

• Minimum of ten (10) years industrial inspection experience required.
• Ability to navigate applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to convey complex ideas effectively, both orally and in writing, and to prepare concise reports.
• Experience using PCMS or similar IDMS software.

Responsabilidades

• Manages regulatory piping, tank, boiler and pressure vessel inspection programs.
• Create and maintain yearly inspection scopes and inspection databases.
• Provide yearly inspection schedules and packages to inspectors for new installations and inspections.
• Review fabrication and inspection results and determine re-inspection dates and repair criteria.
• Act as Authorized Inspector for the Repair Company and oversee repairs and alterations.
