Hilcorp Energy Company is seeking an Inspector III to assure mechanical integrity of pressure vessels, boilers, piping, tanks, and lifting equipment. The role involves visual and NDE examinations, reviews, and coordination with engineers and contractors on Alaska assets.

You will oversee contract inspectors, ensure code compliance, and manage inspection programs while working in challenging Arctic environments and offshore locations. Strong coding knowledge and field leadership are required.

Qualifikationen

• Ten years of industrial inspection experience.
• Familiar with NBIC, OSHA PSM, ASME, API standards.
• Able to navigate complex codes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with Excel/Word; familiarity with PCMS/IDMS.
• Strong written and oral communication; reports & records.
• Willingness to travel offshore and work in Arctic conditions.

Aufgaben

• Manage regulatory inspection programs for piping, tanks, boilers, and pressure vessels.
• Create yearly inspection scopes and schedules.
• Review inspection results and determine re-inspection dates and repair criteria.
• Act as Authorized Inspector for repairs and oversee all repairs/alterations.
• Review welding procedures, NDE procedures, and contractor qualifications.
• Provide documentation for inspection, fabrication, and repair of equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to complete projects.
