Performance Contracting Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical Insulation to lead complex insulation projects from pre-construction through closeout, aligning with client goals and safety standards.

You will manage budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking while coordinating with clients, general contractors, field teams, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of professional construction project experience.
• Experience in the mechanical insulation subcontract scope.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Strong vendor relationships and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with digital takeoff and construction software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical insulation projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Lead field operations, labor planning and performance management.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and manage risks.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals for scope accuracy.
• Handle change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Report progress, risks, and financial status to stakeholders.
