Job summary

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical Insulation for its Kansas City operations in Kansas City, KS. You will manage the full lifecycle of insulation projects, oversee budgets and schedules, and lead field teams to ensure safety and quality.

Strong communication and vendor management are essential. Preferred candidates will have 3–5 years in construction, expertise in mechanical insulation subcontracts, and proficiency with digital takeoff tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience on construction projects.
• Experience in the mechanical insulation scope of construction subcontracts.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work.
• Strong vendor relationship management.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency with digital construction takeoff and software.
• Effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of mechanical insulation projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
• Coordinate with clients, GCs, field teams and subcontractors for successful execution.
• Lead field operations, labor planning, productivity tracking and supervision.
