Senior Mechanical Engineer

Designing a better world is more than a career, it's a calling! We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and quality-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer with a background in HVAC and plumbing consulting engineering to join our Anchorage office. The role involves a mix of design work for construction documents, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing. The position offers opportunity to mentor other engineers while working on complex projects primarily in healthcare, industrial, housing, local government, military, and federal sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering
• Registration as a P.E. required
• Minimum 10+ years in consulting engineering field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing engineering required
  • 3 years can be non-engineering related HVAC and plumbing work
• Proficiency with applicable software including AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and other engineering analysis programs
• Active industry involvement preferred
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
