Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer for their Anchorage office. This role requires 5-10 years of HVAC design experience, particularly in Arctic and Subarctic conditions. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering excellence in diverse engineering projects.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and quality-orientedMechanical Engineerwithfive to ten years of experience in HVAC consulting engineering to join our group as a long-term member of our highly respected team. The successful individual willhave experience in the design of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems. In addition, theindividualshouldbecomfortable andhaveadesiretoworkona multi-disciplineengineeringteam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited program in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical emphasis
• 5 – 10 years of HVAC design experience
• Registration as a P.E.
• Minimum 5 years of Arctic and Subarctic design experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• ASHRAE Membership and participation with local chapter (preferred)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
