Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Requires a Professional Engineering (PE) license; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Expert witness testimony experience is a plus.
• 8 years of experience in failure analysis and forensic engineering; 2 years in insurance and/or risk management services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform complex forensic engineering investigations on failure analyses.
• Survey properties and loss scenes for residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Develop detailed reports, drawings, and causation analyses; provide expert testimony when required.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, adjusters, and other professionals to define scope and deliverables.
• Support EFI Global’s quality program and ongoing professional development.
