Job summary

CoVolt Power, a leading utility-scale EPC, is seeking a field-based Mechanical Lead to support solar field construction in Kentucky. You will oversee crew activities, ensure quality, safety, and on-time production, and coordinate with the site Superintendent.

The role requires 5+ years in solar or related construction, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with mechanical systems, tools, and documentation on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the solar or related construction industry.
• Experience with field safety practices (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee clock in/out of assigned team members.
• Submit daily reports to Superintendent.
• Coordinate mechanical construction activities (string line, tracker, etc.).
• Lead and train team; ensure production goals.
• Ensure quality control and accurate project documentation.
