Job summary

S.I. Goldman Company seeks an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead commercial mechanical construction projects and coordinate field crews.

You will ensure quality workmanship, safety, and productivity while mentoring skilled tradespeople and maintaining alignment with project specifications. The role requires strong leadership, blueprint-reading skills, and hands-on supervision of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipefitting or mechanical construction experience.
• Experience leading commercial mechanical construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using an iPad or computer in the field.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews.
• Coordinate work with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Plan daily work activities and schedule labor efficiently.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
• Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce OSHA requirements.
• Track labor, materials, daily reports, and change orders.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward.
