Job summary

Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, price take-offs, and developing bid schedules with man-loaded resources, coordinating disciplines, and consulting with clients and vendors to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in estimating industrial construction packages.
• Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Review bid documents published by the client.
• Perform quantity take-off and price take-off.
• Develop labor, material, and equipment estimates.
• Prepare itemized lists of material and labor requirements.
• Coordinate disciplines and solicit subcontractor proposals.
• Prepare project bid schedules with man-loaded resources.
• Interface with management, clients, and vendors to discuss estimates.
• Analyze completed projects for cost variances.
• Develop standard hour and related cost data through special studies.
