Job summary

CajunUSA is seeking a Senior Estimator to analyze industrial construction drawings and specifications to prepare labor, material, and equipment estimates for bids.

The role requires 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, proficiency with Excel and Primavera, and strong communication with management and clients. Office-based, with responsibilities spanning document review, quantity take-off, and schedule development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating industrial construction packages.
• Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Proficient in developing estimate schedules in Primavera or similar programs.
• Strong communication skills with management and supervision.
• Excellent reading, writing, and listening comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Review bid documents published by the client.
• Perform quantity take-off and price take-off.
• Prepare labor estimates and itemized material/labor lists.
• Create project CPM bid schedules with resources.
• Coordinate disciplines and solicit subcontractor proposals.
• Analyze costs to support management decisions and bidding.
• Ensure estimates are complete and reviewed with peers.
• Discuss estimates with clients/vendors to resolve issues.
• Identify ways to reduce durations and costs through constructability.
