Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of related field experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (NA) or Chartered Engineer (EMEA/APAC).
• Aspirations towards Principal Professional Associate level.
• Significant design experience on large, multi-discipline, complex buildings.
• History of exceptional leadership performance and project delivery.
• Recognized technical expert within HDR and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive the community of practice and develop capabilities across HDR.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and develop a network of Technical Experts/Subject Matter Experts.
• Lead a service-minded culture and ensure exceptional project execution across business groups.
• Develop mentoring and succession strategy for technical expertise.
• Develop communication strategies to connect North American and global professionals for knowledge sharing.
• Create communities of practice around special skills and emerging services.
• Drive technical excellence and maintain project delivery tools, standards, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Digital Delivery on digital content and workflows.
• Lead quality initiatives and design quality control reviews across projects.
• Assist teams in leveraging subject matter experts to optimize delivery and provide design oversight.
