Northrop Grumman is seeking two Mechanical Engineering Manager 2 engineers for the Marine Systems Strategic Launcher Engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will provide both technical and people leadership for the integrated engineering group, shaping mechanical design, testing, and delivery of complex hardware for U.S.
Navy launcher products. The role requires strong communication, background in mechanical engineering, and experience in program management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9+ years of engineering experience, or advanced degree with fewer years.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical/design engineering and leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
- Provide project and technical leadership for design and analysis by the team.
- Oversee requirements development and verification for a complex Navy hardware product.
- Lead mechanical design, fabrication, and subsystem development and testing.
