Job summary

Envirogen has over 50 years of experience helping food and beverage, healthcare and industrial water treatment clients solve complex water processing challenges. We have a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer experienced in the water or wastewater field to join our growing business and lead project execution on $1–$20m initiatives.

As the senior engineer you will work with the project management team on the execution of projects, review drawings, perform pump design and hydraulic

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ME, ChE) from an accredited four-year university.
• Demonstrated engineering experience in the water or wastewater field or fluid processing.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of Capital Projects within budget, schedule and to customer’s satisfaction.
• Review and approve P&ID, fabrication, single line, schematics and other drawings.
• Review BOM for equipment/component design for compliance with standards.
• Perform pump design, hydraulic calculations, valve selections, instrumentation selections.
• Assemble, review or approve specifications, data sheets for components.
• Specify materials for purchasing, vendors, RFQ, and tracking delivery.
• Attend customer and vendor meetings and assist in cost gathering for proposals.
