Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited seeks a senior Engineer with water/wastewater or liquid processing expertise to drive capital projects from concept through execution. You will collaborate with the project management team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality engineering deliverables.

You will review drawings, BOMs, and specifications, perform pump and hydraulic calculations, and participate in vendor meetings to provide meaningful input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ME/ChE) from an accredited university; ME preferred.
• Demonstrated engineering experience in the water or wastewater field or fluid process engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and applications is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team oriented and Customer Focused.
• Organized and Self-Directed.

Responsibilities

• Drive capital project execution on budget and schedule to satisfy customers.
• Review and approve P&ID, fabrication, single-line, schematics, and other drawings.
• Review BOMs for equipment design for compliance with standards and contracts.
• Perform pump design/selection, hydraulics, valves, instruments per requirements.
• Assemble/review/approve specifications and data sheets for components.
• Specify materials, identify vendors, issue RFQs, ensure compliance and track delivery.
• Attend customer and vendor meetings and contribute project input.
• Assist cost gathering for equipment, labor, subcontractors for proposals.

We have a great opportunity for a senior Engineer experienced in the water or wastewater field or in liquid processing to join our growing business. As the senior Engineer you will work closely with the project management team in the overall execution of projects ranging from $1 - $20m and be responsible for the engineering support and deliverables required for a given project.

About the role:

• Engineer driving the execution of Capital Projects within budget, schedule and to customer’s satisfaction.
• Review and approve various drawings including P&ID, fabrication, single line, schematics, and other project related drawings.
• Reviews Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment / component design for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Perform pump design & selection, hydraulic calculations, valve selections, instrumentation selection, and other equipment selection that meet contractual requirements and applicable standards.
• Assemble, review, and / or approve specifications, data sheets, or other detailed information for specific components related to the project.
• Specifying materials for purchasing including identifying vendors, initiating requests for quotation, making best price/best value purchasing determinations, specification compliance and tracking delivery of material.
• Attend customer meetings / vendor meetings and offer meaningful input as it relates to the project.
• Assist in the gathering of costs for equipment, labor estimates, subcontractor estimates, and other costs in preparation of proposals and commercial quotes.

About you:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ME, ChE,) from an accredited, four-year university – ME preferred
• Demonstrated engineering experience in the water or wastewater field or fluid process engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD and applications is a plus
