Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to design, develop, and qualify complex mechanical systems, including precision mechanisms and electro-mechanical assemblies.

You will own major system components, lead across the lifecycle, and perform 3D modeling while working hands-on in our lab. A strong background in mechatronics and CAD tools is required, with TS clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w Poly security clearance.
• Experience in design or development of precision mechanisms, mechatronic systems, and/or packaging.
• Proficiency in CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify complex mechanical systems including precision mechanisms and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Own significant system components and provide program leadership across the product lifecycle.
• Perform 3D modeling and hardware design, spend substantial time in lab environments working hands‑on.
