Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced engineer to design and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for next-generation data centers in the United States. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, facilities, and hardware, guiding projects from conception to implementation and managing budgets.

You will collaborate with teams to optimize facility integration and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, supporting sustainable data center operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for next-generation data centers.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Oversee project lifecycle from conception through implementation, including budget management.
• Foster collaborative relationships with hardware teams to optimize facility-equipment integration.
