Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an engineering leader to design energy-efficient mechanical systems for next‑generation data centers.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, procurement, and operations to deliver projects from concept to implementation. With 4+ years in industrial engineering for mission‑critical facilities and commissioning, you will drive innovation, manage budgets, and collaborate with hardware teams to optimize facility integration and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Design energy-efficient mechanical systems for next-generation data centers
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
• Oversee project lifecycle from conception through implementation, including budget management
• Foster collaborative relationships with hardware teams to optimize facility‑equipment integration
• Guide continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance monitoring
