Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for our Semiconductor sector in the United States. You will lead mechanical/plumbing/fire protection design, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and develop design drawings (Revit, AutoCAD).

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in similar A/E or EPCM settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Travel to project sites will be required, and relocation is possible for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in sequences of operations and design drawings (Revit, AutoCAD, P&IDs).
• Strong communication skills in English, able to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/plumbing/fire protection design and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Create design drawings, analyze heating/cooling loads, and develop P&IDs.
• Size ductwork/piping and perform pressure drop calculations for various systems.
• Conduct field surveys and prepare contract documentation and specs.
• Review equipment/shop drawings for contract compliance and assist on project delivery.
