Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Architectural Designer for our Semiconductor team in Albany, New York. You will support architectural design, drawing production, and documentation across project phases, under senior staff guidance.

Ideal applicants have 1–5 years of experience, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam, and an interest in advanced facilities like cleanrooms and data centers. This role offers growth in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with collaborative teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience; internship or project experience in architecture a plus.
• Interest or exposure to semiconductor, cleanroom, laboratory, or advanced facilities projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction documentation, and building systems coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support development of architectural design and construction documents for semiconductor and advanced facilities projects.
• Assist with design layouts, drawing production, detailing, and document coordination.
• Coordinate architectural scope with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Apply graphical standards to drawings and contract documentation.
• Conduct building code, zoning, and material research to support project development.
• Assist in presentations, renderings, and other deliverables.
• Learn and apply Arcadis standards and workflows.
