Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and verify rugged single board computers and systems. You will perform 3D modeling, drawing creation, analysis, and electromechanical integration, collaborating with PCB design, manufacturing, and other teams to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, Creo proficiency, GD&T/DFM knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of related engineering experience.
• Proficient in Creo for 3D modeling and drawings.
• Strong GD&T and Design for Manufacturability knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering work to ensure products meet specifications.
• Support development of new products through analysis-driven decisions.
• Create and review 3D models and drawings using Creo.
• Review PCB layouts for mechanical fit and integration.
• Evaluate FEA results and propose design improvements.
• Analyze test data to identify root causes and recommend changes.
• Document analyses and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and review work for quality.
