Job summary

NDimensions designs and builds robots from the ground up, with a vertically integrated stack where mechanics, electronics, firmware, and AI are engineered together under one roof. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will own the transition from prototype to production, the design of cosmetic plastic enclosures, and the fit, finish, and reliability of the completed machine.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, ideally on robotic or precision hardware products.
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with motor and actuator integration and mechanical packaging.

Responsibilities

• Drive the transition from prototype to production with vendors, contract manufacturers, and machine shops.
• Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) across the machine, with ownership of cosmetic plastics parts.
• Design robotic mechanical systems end to end: manipulators, joints, drivetrains, chassis, mounts, enclosures, and structural components.
