Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in mechanical design and packaging of complex electronic hardware.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD for detailed part and large-assembly modeling.
• Experience with structural and thermal analysis using analytical methods or FE tools.
• Experience with thermal management of high-power-density electronics including conduction paths and TIMs.
• Experience applying GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards; PLM systems like Windchill or Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical design and packaging of phased array antenna panels and RF payload assemblies from architecture to production support.
• Drive thermal management strategy for high-power-density RF electronics in collaboration with thermal analysis.
• Design PCBA mounting and retention to satisfy thermal preload, flatness, and structural requirements.
• Lead architecture and trade studies for RF payload packaging and provide documented recommendations.
• Perform and interpret structural/thermal analyses and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams.
