Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 8+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years with a Master.
• Professional Engineer License in good US standing.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability.
• Experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Experience testing mechanical systems.
• Team player with strong communication.
• Proficiency in engineering analysis tools and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical utilities.
• Prepare drawings, specs, schedules, and calculations for public procurement.
• Coordinate with architecture, civil, electrical and controls disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, ICC, energy codes.
• Perform load calculations and energy modeling for efficient designs.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Civil 3D, Carrier HAP/Trace, eQUEST.
• Support cost estimation and budgeting with RSMeans, Bluebeam, Sage.
• Support construction administration and commissioning coordination.
• Fire protection (sprinklers, smoke control).
