Springtide in Albany, NY is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems for semiconductor facilities and lead projects. The role can be fully remote, or office-based, with responsibilities spanning ductwork, central plants, and energy analysis.

You will mentor junior staff and ensure design excellence and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in building HVAC design, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit, plus energy modeling

Qualifications

• 10+ years in building design HVAC systems and related utilities.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit CAD drafting.
• Strong knowledge of codes for HVAC system design.
• Experience with load calculations and energy analysis software.

Responsabilités

• Lead design studies and schematic designs for mechanical systems.
• Perform energy savings calculations using IESVE/Carrier HAP/eQUEST.
• Prepare equipment schedules and cost estimates.
• Mentor engineers and guide project execution.
• Ensure drawings meet quality and standards.
