Job summary

SelecTek is seeking an HVAC Design Technician to develop mechanical system designs for semiconductor or high-tech facilities. You will model using Revit and AutoCAD and coordinate with engineers and other trades to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Remote in the United States with a focus on complex HVAC systems, collaboration across disciplines, and adherence to applicable codes and standards. A minimum of five years of experience and an ACCD/ CAD-related degree are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in CAD/design or related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Experience in building mechanical design systems in semiconductor or related high-tech facilities.
• Extensive modeling & drafting experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Navisworks expertise in model review.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC and related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate design requirements and develop detailed HVAC system deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineers and other trades to ensure cross-discipline consistency.
• Prepare drawings, models, P&IDs, and equipment layouts for proposals and construction documents.
• Lead design tasks on smaller projects or portions of larger projects with minimal supervision.
