Job summary

Versique is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its product development team in Rogers, MN. You will design, develop, validate propulsion and mechanical systems for vehicles, supporting the product lifecycle from concept to production.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years in mechanical design within manufacturing, with 3D CAD and engineering analysis skills, and strong communication and project management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of product design and development experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with mechanical/powertrain systems or electromechanical products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and engineering design software.
• Familiarity with PLM and ECN processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define specs and design requirements for mechanical systems and components.
• Create assemblies and drawings with GD&T and tolerancing.
• Perform tolerance analyses for manufacturability and performance.
• Develop CAD models and maintain documentation.
• Run simulations and modeling to evaluate designs.
• Prepare deliverables: drawings, BOMs, calculations, cost analyses.
• Coordinate prototype development with cross-functional teams.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and launch activities.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify performance and compliance.
• Support ECOs/ECNs and engineering change processes.
