Job summary

magniX USA Inc. in Everett, WA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, development and integration of electric motor and battery module systems for advanced electrified powertrains.

Responsibilities include mechanical design, thermal management, structural analysis, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. Proficiency in 3D CAD and FEA/CFD is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and analysis of electric propulsion components including electric motors and battery modules.
• Develop, optimize and validate motor assemblies and energy storage system sub-assemblies for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Ownership of development packages and delivery on time and on budget.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Test teams.
