Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager for its New York, NY office. You will contribute to the Property and Buildings Team, providing technical guidance on mechanical systems from design through construction and operation.

Your role includes data collection, analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet client objectives. The position requires 5–7 years of post-education experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and an EIT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5–7 years of post-education engineering experience, with mechanical design exposure.
• Engineer in Training Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from site, surveys, blueprints, and reports for project development and construction.
• Perform professional mechanical engineering work, inspect site conditions, and ensure conformance with standards and permits.
• Incorporate advanced modeling, design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies for proper equipment installation.
