Job summary

Trove Brands in Lehi, Utah, seeks a Current Products Mechanical Engineer to maintain and improve injection-molded plastic lines. You will design with CAD, validate concepts, and coordinate with suppliers and Asia facilities for cost and reliability goals.

You will monitor product quality, lead tooling decisions, and work with cross-functional teams to drive advancements from concept through high-volume production.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years in mechanical/product design development.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling/design.
• Experience with injection molding preferred.
• Understanding of reliability testing, DOE, materials and processes.
• Experience with Asia OEM partners; travel to global sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage tooling for all products after initial release.
• Develop and approve capacity tooling with forecasting/purchasing.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement product improvements.
• Coordinate with factories to resolve QC issues.
• Provide feedback to product team for learnings in new products.
• Participate in evaluation/test to validate new products.
• Use CAD/tools to develop innovative mechanical solutions.
• Protect IP through design and patent processes.
