Job summary

Trove Brands is seeking a Current Products Mechanical Engineer to maintain existing lines and drive improvements from concept through high-volume production at our Lehi, Utah HQ. This role collaborates across teams to ensure cost, schedule, reliability, and regulatory/safety goals are met.

You will work with internal and external partners, manage tooling, and validate designs for injection-molded plastics and related components, with travel to Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant mechanical/product design experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling.
• Experience with materials properties and fabrication; injection molding preferred.
• Understanding of reliability testing, DOE, materials and processes.
• Experience with Asia OEM partners and travel to global sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage tooling for all products after initial release.
• Collaborate with forecasting and purchasing to develop capacity tooling.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement product improvements across the supply chain.
• Engage with factories to resolve issues from incoming quality inspections.
• Provide feedback to the product team to incorporate learnings into new products.
• Participate in mechanical engineering evaluations and testing for robustness.
• Develop innovative mechanical solutions for complex problems.
• Protect IP through design and patent processes.
