Job summary

Halo Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and deploy high‑precision wafer processing equipment. You will drive 3D designs in SolidWorks, build prototypes, and coordinate with manufacturing, NPI, and software teams to deploy scalable solutions.

Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years or an MS/PhD with 3+ years, plus proficiency in CAD/FEA and GD&T. On-site role with a competitive base salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering plus 5+ years in mechanical design (or MS/PhD with 3+ years).
• Proficient in CAD modeling and precision engineering.
• Experience with structural and thermal FEA; GD&T; prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test high-precision electro-mechanical R&D and production equipment.
• Drive conceptual and detailed designs using 3D solid modeling (SolidWorks).
• Build prototypes, validate designs, and release drawings and ECOs.
• Collaborate with fabrication, NPI, and software/electrical teams to deploy at scale.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to improve performance.
