Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, test, and document high-precision semiconductor capital equipment. You will support mechanical system development from feasibility through detailed design, prototyping, testing, and documentation.

You will design and analyze mechanical systems, run feasibility studies, develop prototypes, and perform tolerance and reliability testing while coordinating with cross-functional teams across a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, assemblies, and packaging.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new and modified mechanical designs.
• Develop prototypes and support fabrication, assembly, and design verification activities.
• Plan and execute mechanical, thermal, structural, and reliability testing.
• Investigate technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and evaluate dimensional requirements.
• Provide design information and technical specifications for drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with drafting, manufacturing, laboratory, and other technical support personnel.
• Analyze test data using statistical methods and communicate results.
