Onto Innovation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead design across advanced semiconductor equipment. You will develop precision electro-mechanical assemblies, analyze tolerances, and validate through FEA and prototype testing.

The role requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in product development, familiarity with SEMI/CE/UL standards, and ability to collaborate with hardware and software teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in product development.
• Experience with precision mechanical engineering and motion systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEMI, CE, UL, and related standards is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical engineering design using precision components and custom-designed parts for complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Perform tolerance analysis and finite element analysis to validate designs.
• Deliver designs that meet schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
• Support prototype builds, system-level characterization, validation, and compliance testing.
• Provide technical support to sales and service teams to promote product adoption.
• Communicate concepts and plans clearly to hardware and software teams.
